REAL ESTATE CAREER AND INTERESTS
Beginning my real estate career in 2009 as a Freelance Marketing Assistant, with Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty, allowed me to experience firsthand the daily grind of a real estate agent, before becoming one. While working alongside multiple agents, I helped them develop their marketing strategies, pertaining to their website, email and property marketing. I now apply these strategies today with my clients as a Licensed Realtor® with Premier Sotheby's International Realty. It also prepared me for the next step in my real estate career.
After spending time as a freelancer, I moved into the full-time position of Marketing Director for an independent Brokerage, Commercial Real Estate Professionals Inc., located in Downtown Orlando Florida. During my time as Marketing Director I assisted with the listing and sales of multiple types of commercial properties, including bank-owned vacant land, retail spaces, short sale transactions, industrial and specialized properties such as churches and supermarkets. Also during this time, I would commonly switch hats to become the Transaction Coordinator for the broker of record, Mark L. Allen. While working in the economic downturn of 2010 as a TC, it taught me the lessons of having to work with frustrated sellers and buyers and being caught in-between the banking and mortgage companies dictating the process. All in all, it gave me a true understanding of how to work through these challenges to satisfy all parties involved... which I preserve as an agent today.
Also during my time as Marketing Director, I would assist our sister offices in the Windermere and Davenport areas, Realty International, with training of new administration, property management, vacation rentals, and event management. Supporting the overall real estate brand of two family owned companies was an exciting time to get my bearings for obtaining my real estate license in 2016.
Before receiving my license, I had begun studying real estate investing for my personal knowledge and to gain the understanding of what a Real Estate Investor values in their strategies for my real estate career. I understand the process of wholesaling, lease/purchase options, rehab to flip and long/short term rental property investments and assist my clients with these needs. I am a proud active member of the local REIA, CFRI, the Central Florida Realty Investors Association as well as an affiliate member of the National Real Estate Investors Association. I am also an online member of Bigger Pockets.com and Connected Investors.com, and recently an Associate Member with the Urban Land Institute which gives me the network and education outlets needed to stay up-to-date on the industry on a global and local level.
One of my favorite investment strategies is New Housing Developments, whether it is for a mid to large scale housing community or spec homes on infill lots, I've always had a love for dirt! This love comes from my childhood growing up in rural areas to my career in commercial real estate marketing various types of vacant land. I've always enjoyed the process of marketing and selling vacant land to see the possibilities that it holds for the future developer or homeowner.
When it comes to real estate, they say location is the key to success and I know my area very well! I have been a resident of Central Florida since 1994, which has given me a diverse knowledge of each city and town of this great corridor of Florida. Having lived in almost every county, I have a solid understanding of what types of investment properties have the ability of growth over others with staying in tune with the economic forecasts of each county. I pride myself on being an investor friendly REALTOR® for the Orlando area ready to share this knowledge for my clients to have the best information to make informed investment decisions.
Beyond my love of real estate, I have a great love of vintage and classic cars that I share with my husband and family. I am also an aspiring artist of contemporary art of an eclectic nature. Lastly, I am dedicated to giving back to my community through various organizations that aid domestic violence and human trafficking victims in Central Florida.
